New Year Brings Cold Weather & Hot Results

Dave James ran a speedy 100 miles in 14.5 hrs at the Freedom Park Ultras and decided to shut it down after dealing with cold and rainy conditions for much of his run.

At the Frosty Footfest Trail races in the Tsali Recreation Area Team Inov-8 athletes had a great day. Amber Moran took the 8k title for the women in 31:12 and finished 2nd OA. Dwight Shuler (pictured with his salt sickle on his Team Inov-8 cap) ran a 12+ minute PR on the 50k course in 4:22 and got 5th OA. Anne Lundblad won the 50k title for the women in 4:20 (new CR) and was 4th OA. Conditions were bitter cold with snow at the start of the race.

Yassine Diboun and Joe Grant both had nice performances at the Badass 50k in Bend OR. Joe was 2nd OA in 3:59 and Yassine was 4th OA in 4:15. Great job everyone!

Anne, Congratulations on a great run in tough conditions. First female and new course record. Can't beat that. Rick
