I ran the Capitol Peak Ultra this past weekend and had good fun and finished strong. I also learned that you always need to run the entire race with focus...especially on trails. I've been there a few times myself. Usually it has been somebody taking course markings down who didn't appreciate the runners passing through...and yes I've lost a couple races by not paying attention. It happens and part of the game especially with ultras where concentration can be tough especially in the later stages. Regardless nice job.
Thanks Mark...A couple friends reminded me that it's better to have happened at this low-key race rather than at a bigger race. Next time I'll be more aware :o)
