Europe here I come

Its that time again, Europe here I come! This season has truly been a blessing and I'm really looking forward to getting out to Europe again and competing in the World Mountain Running Championships and representing for Inov-8 this summer.

Also, I want to clarify something on that Mt. Ashland race. Ask yourself this little question, should a course record stand if its not official? Well if you are an honest person who loves your sport the answer would most likely be no. The Mt. Ashland race was awesome, but that little issue was just frustrating. The race was pretty hot and smoke had also come into the picture as a nearby forest fire dimmed the sky. Running through the smoke and the heat became tougher than I had expected about 3 miles in as the lungs started to get tight. The last climb was total hell. Sand, loose rocks, and a super steep incline that left all of the elites walking the majority of this section.

Last year the USA team took home the Bronze at the World Championship. This year I expect the same or better and you better believe I will do my best to make sure that happens. We have a very strong team and I think our chances of receiving a medal are great, being that we have 6 guys who could be top 30, in my opinion. Well, a special thanks out to Inov-8 for being a great sponsor this year, below is a video recap of some of my season this year. I hope you like RnB because I do (:

Good luck to everyone with the rest of their summer races and training, see you in a few months!
