We had some stellar performances from some of our new team members this past weekend and not all were off-road efforts, showing the diversity of our team. New team member Aaron Saft (pictured) won the inaugural 10/10 Treadmill Challenge at FootRx here in Asheville. He posted a 1.30 mile distance for 10 minutes at 10% on a treadmill finishing his run at 12 mph. A closely contested battle with 2nd place coming in at 1.29 miles and 3rd 1.28 miles. I got to spectate this event and it was much more comfortable watching....believe me.
Amber Moran set a very swift road 8k PR of 28:45 on chilly day in Hopkins, SC at the appropriately named Snowman 8k. Joe Gray ran a stellar time of 1:06:16 at the Naples Half Marathon. Returning team member Andy Jones-Wilkins had a very close 2nd at The Ghost Town 38.5. It was a sprint to the finish. Andy's time was 5:21:06, the winning time was 5:21:01 which is very tight for an ultra race. Great job to everyone.
