We just got off the phone with Jason. The winds were gusting to 75mph in North Dakota yesterday, and unfortunately Sam dislocated his shoulder while trying to wrestle his kite in those winds. Sam's doc says it will be a week before he can get out there again, but, well, "you know Sam."
Jason decided against using a kite at all and was able to cover 10 miles (!!) by simply raising his arms and catching the wind that way.
